Modeling Contagious Disease Spread: A Network-Based Agent Simulation for Epidemic Control and Public Health Interventions

Developed a computational agent-based disease spread model in Python integrating network theory to simulate real-world pandemic dynamics. The model captures heterogeneous interactions, super-spreader effects, and intervention strategies such as lockdowns and vaccinations, offering a scalable, data-driven framework for epidemic forecasting and policy analysis.

Creation of nano-particles to aid in the treatment of Sickle Cell Anemia

This project explores how mRNA-loaded nanoparticles could be used to correct the genetic mutation behind sickle cell anaemia at its source. By designing a targeted delivery system to reach hematopoietic stem cells safely and efficiently, the work investigates a more accessible alternative to complex bone-marrow treatments. It reflects my interest in using nanotechnology and gene editing to turn emerging biomedical ideas into real-world impact.
